Sterling Ruby at Sprüth Magers
Woodworks, wall-sized works in fabric, or encompassing ceramics: once again, U.S. artist Sterling Ruby fascinates with a wealth of materials used and masterfully crafted. The groups of works exhibited on all floors of the Sprüth Magers Gallery reference Ruby’s childhood in rural Pennsylvania, where crafts such as woodworking and quilt-making are common among the Amish.
